NCCPA Demonstration in Chennai on CGHS / RELHS / Medical Issues !!

As per the call of NCCPA CHQ, the second programme Dharna / Demonstration was held today throughout the country.

In Chennai, the Demonstration was conducted on behalf of NCCPA Tamilnadu State Steering Committee today (6.8.2024) at 10am.

The Demonstration began with the thunderous slogans raised by Com Vedagiri which enthused the participants. 

The Demonstration was presided over by Com P. Mohan, State President, NCCPA.  It was addressed by Com C. K. Narasimhan, Convenor, Com R.  Rajasekar, Circle Secretary, AIBDPA, Tamilnadu Circle, Com S. Sundaramurthy, Vice- President, TN ITPA, Com Murugesan, General Secretary, DRPU and Com K. Govindaraj, Circle Secretary, Chennai Telephones. Leaders of  all the affiliates of the State, District and Divisions were present.  

All the leaders who spoke in the demonstration had narrated the attitude of the Government and CGHS Directorate in not settling the issues involved in the CGHS system as a whole and stressed the need for improving and extending it further.

Nearly hundred  pensioners belonging to all the constituent organisations of NCCPA,

Tamilnadu State attended the Demonstration.

Com C. Sekar, All India Treasurer, AIPRPA proposed a vote of thanks.

After the conclusion of the Demonstration, a *delegation comprising of Comrades P. Mohan, C. K. Narasimhan, R. Rajasekar and K. Govindaraj escorted by police met Dr K. Kokila, Additional Director, CGHS, Chennai and handed over the copy of the Memorandum* already sent to the high signatories including the Hon'ble Prime Minister of India.
