A well mobilized NCCPA Dharna in Chennai On 28.09.2024 !

             As per the call of NCCPA, the third phase programme of State Level Dharna was conducted today (28.9.2024) by the  Steering Committee of NCCPA, Tamilnadu State at BSNL Flower Bazaar Telephone Exchange premises, Chennai. Around 150 comrades across the State representing all the affiliated organizations participated in the Dharna.

The Dharna was presided over by Com P. Mohan, State President, NCCPA State Steering Committee. Com C.K. Narasimhan, State Convenor delivered the Welcome address.

The following Comrades addressed the Dharna:
Com R. Elangovan, Vice President, NCCPA.
Com R. Rajasekar, Circle Secretary, AIBDPA, Tamilnadu Circle.
Com S. Sundaramurthy, Vice President, TN Income Tax Pensioners Association.
Com K. Govindaraj, Circle Secretary, Chennai Telephones Circle and AGS, AIBDPA.
Com A. Murugesan, General Secretary, DRPU.
Com K. Shanmugasundararaj, Central Working Committee Member, AIPRPA

Com C. Sekar, All India Treasurer,AIPRPA.
Com C.S. Narasimhan, Joint Secretary, NCCPA, State Steering Committee proposed a Vote of thanks.

A Resolution was unanimously adopted in the Dharna extending solidarity to the workers of Samsung Company who are on the struggle demanding the right of formation of union and against victimization. The Resolution requested the State Government to intervene immediately to resolve the issue.
The President exhorted the gathering to observe the World Pensioners Day in all Districts in a befitting manner on 1st October. Chennai Comrades of all affiliates were requested to attend the Pensioners Day programme in front of Chennai Central Suburban Railway Terminal at 3pm on 1.10.2024.
The Dharna ended with thunderous slogans.
Lunch was provided to all those who had  attended the Dharna after its conclusion.
